It’s why we developed a unique concept for our ARROJO Product distribution business: We build direct, mutually beneficial relationships, we use our experience and expertise to mentor and support, and we have a business plan that empowers stylists to come to our globally-recognized New York City Academy to take world-class advanced education with Nick Arrojo and fellow master stylists, completely free of charge.

One of the (many) ways we are delivering on this commitment is through the “Happy Mondays,” a seminar for staff of Ambassador Salons, held one Monday a Month.

Highlighting our modern and creative, precision-based hairstyling method, each month’s “Happy Monday” features live model demonstrations of contemporary techniques in scissor and razor cutting, color, and creative styling. The idea: show the value of proper craftsmanship; shape fashion-forward and functional, beautiful, wearable hair; immerse our professional partners into a multi-award-winning culture of excellence and integrity; and display techniques stylists can use to feel motivated, inspired, and improve their work with clients on the salon floor every day.

September’s “Happy Mondays” seminar brought in attendees from across the States for an energy-filled class, led by Nick, and with the support of ARROJO master stylists. The live model demos focused on the latest trailblazing techniques and pioneering practices in cutting and styling: How to combine round and square cutting; how to blend layers and disconnection; how to shape a structured interior, with lots of looseness and movement on the outside of the cut; and how to use the classic tools of hairdressing – roller-setting, hot-irons, product usage –– for adroit and inventive setting and styling.

It was, however, the clear to see vision of ARROJO Professional to support, educate, inspire, and maximize potential of salon owners and stylists, that was the most illuminating insight of the night.
